Faucimails and USA’s new quest into Covid19 Origins: The Wuhan lab leak Theory

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci (80), The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and with National Institutes of Health over 50 years now, has been very crucial in managing the pandemic in USA and drafting CDC guidlines.
Recently Washington Post obtained his earlier conversations with several people, including reporters, celebs and doctors and politicians, through the Freedom of Information Act, which gives us an insight into “what was on his mind” during those extremely crucial days of pandemic management under President Trump.

Trying to answer as many questions that came to him via email as possible, giving people information on pandemic, masks among other things, he comes off as a very polite person.

He wrote back : “Our society is totally nuts” and “Some crazy people in the world” replying to some questions.

Keeping aside the “Fauci socks”, “Fauci doughnuts”,”Fauci fan arts”, “Fauci For President”, that he didn’t like when he came to know about his craze among people, this is what you’d not miss-

These Emails are in nearly 3200 pages and few conversations do raise some Republican eyebrows.
In one such correspondence When asked about the Masks and its effectiveness in keeping the virus away,
Dr. Fauci replied:

“Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection.

“The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you.”
He further added, “I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very low risk location.”
but later on when Center for Disease Control and Prevention updated the guidelines, he strongly vouched for masks.
On January 25, 2021 he again said to a NBC reporter that wearing two masks was “common sense.”
he pointed out, “So, if you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective.”

His flip-flop on masks is quite obvious. While Covid19 cases are still claiming many lives across world, in some cases new diseases are coming to light due to Masks itself, his opinions become more important than before.

More on Covid19 – Few Things to know;

Wuhan Lab-leak theory on Covid19:

In one such correspondence he’s seen thanking Dr. Peter Daszak, The president of EcoHealth Alliance, the group has close relations with Wuhan lab ‘gain of function’ research, in an April 18, 2020 email.
It’s clear from the conversation that Dr. Fauci along with Dr. Peter Daszak has summarily dismissed the lab leak theory without proper investigation.

Peter Daszak, and one Thea Fischer were the members of the WHO team that visited the Wuhan lab of Virology, China, on 3rd February,2020.

Here’s the conversation
“As the Pl of the ROl grant publicly targeted by Fox News reporters at the Presidential press briefing last night, I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

From my perspective, your comments are brave, and coming from your trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus’ origins. Once this pandemic’s over I look forward thanking you in person and let you know how important your comments are to us all.”

Fauci thanked Peter Daszak a day after responding to the email-

“Peter:

Many thanks for your kind note.

Best Regards,

Tony”. And he signed off.

Dr. Peter Daszak was part of the WHO team Investigating the Covid19 Origins in China in February 2020/AFP

Surprisingly Dr. Peter Daszak, a zoologist, had previously on March 07, 2020, helped orchestrate a statement from Scientific and Medical Journal ‘The Lancet’ in support of the scientists, public health professionals, and medical professionals of China combatting COVID-19 that read:

”We are public health scientists who have closely followed the emergence of 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and are deeply concerned about its impact on global health and wellbeing. We have watched as the scientists, public health professionals, and medical professionals of China, in particular, have worked diligently and effectively to rapidly identify the pathogen behind this outbreak, put in place significant measures to reduce its impact, and share their results transparently with the global health community. This effort has been remarkable. We sign this statement in solidarity with all scientists and health professionals in China who continue to save lives and protect global health during the challenge of the COVID-19 outbreak. We are all in this together, with our Chinese counterparts in the forefront, against this new viral threat.

The rapid, open, and transparent sharing of data on this outbreak is now being threatened by rumours and misinformation around its origins. We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin. Scientists from multiple countries have published and analysed genomes of the causative agent, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and they overwhelmingly conclude that this coronavirus originated in wildlife, as have so many other emerging pathogens. This is further supported by a letter from the presidents of the US National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine and by the scientific communities they represent. Conspiracy theories do nothing but create fear, rumours, and prejudice that jeopardise our global collaboration in the fight against this virus. We support the call from the Director-General of WHO to promote scientific evidence and unity over misinformation and conjecture.

We want you, the science and health professionals of China, to know that we stand with you in your fight against this virus. We invite others to join us in supporting the scientists, public health professionals, and medical professionals of Wuhan and across China. Stand with our colleagues on the frontline!”

This Lancet journal statement, in all possibility further sealed the deal and dissuaded media, U.S. Intelligence Community and many others from finding the nasty truths about Covid19 “coronavirus” origins in Wuhan, China.

The interesting thing is that very recently on May 26, 2021 The White House pushed WHO for reinvestigation into the Covid19 origins.
US President Joe Biden said ‘As of today, the U.S. Intelligence Community has “coalesced around the two likely scenarios” but has not reached a definitive conclusion on this question.’

“I have now asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion, and to report back to me in 90 days. As part of that report, I have asked for areas of further inquiry that may be required, including specific questions for China. I have also asked that this effort include work by our National Labs and other agencies of our government to augment the Intelligence Community’s efforts. And I have asked the Intelligence Community to keep Congress fully apprised of its work.”

The United States will also keep working with like-minded partners around the world to press China to participate in a full, transparent, evidence-based international investigation and to provide access to all relevant data and evidence.

WH: President’s statement

Whether WHO was complicit in their investigation into Covid19 origins from Wuhan lab is a matter of grave importance to many people across the world. Last year Former US President Donald Trump had repeatedly targeted WHO and China on providing access to all the information available on Covid19 with WHO and China but many media channels played it down.
